Reading Time: 2 minutes

I headed into curating @femedtech last week with the goal of sharing as many #FemEdTech “adjacent” networks that I could. I went in with a goal for the first week to “connect networks to networks.” Little did I know how well this would sync up with the #femedtechvalues activity that Frances and Helen were constructing.

In sharing & connecting networks last week, I looked at the Femedtech Values statement and Ann Lewis’s Actions of Feminists (which hangs in my home office wall) as I decided what to seek out and share. I also looked at the existing FemEdTech followers and who we were following to help guide where we needed to grow.

Hindsight is 20/20. I could have been a little more strategic about how I documented what I was sharing. My workflow was to get up early (in my Eastern Daylight Time zone), find 7-10 links and schedule them to post throughout the day using TweetDeck.  I wasn’t however collecting and capturing the resources – so – that made aggregating this post a bit tricky (but, I also didn’t know I was going to write this post a week ago!) I went back through the @FemEdTech timeline and copy/pasted the twitter handles and links I shared for you (or that you shared and were retweeted) below.

I’m hoping this will make things a little easier for those of you who are also engaged in the #femedtechvalues activity to find other examples of networks and network principles as we challenge and revise our own. There was a decent amount of engagement with the tweets/links last week – but as we know – they flow down the Twitter river and are hard to find. Hopefully this will serve as a respite along that river so you too can click and consider as you’re looking for inspiration.
